| The centre received its official approval in 2000 after years of hard work and planning to ensure that it would pass the strict and detailed BHS inspection. The XC course was planned and built by Rose and Alan Brooke who moved to Marian Bach in 1986. Initially the first few jumps were built as training jumps for thir own use and it all progressed from there. | Having a lot of fun themselves Rose and Alan wanted to give something back to the local community and the horse world and decided to share their lovely course with local riders, riding and pony clubs. In September 1988 they held their first cross country day and were overwhelmed with 104 entries both Junior and Senior Novice and Open. They started dressage competitions in 2003 - more . . . |
